Privacy Policy
AHJIN Transportation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘AHJIN’) provides the following policies to protect the privacy and rights of users and to handle the personal information related difficulties in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
AHJIN will notify the company through a website notice (or individual notice) if it changes its privacy policy.
○ This policy will take effect on 1st of July, 2018.
- The purpose of the processing of personal information: AHJIN processes personal information for the following purposes.
The personal information processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following and will seek prior consent if the purpose of use is changed.- Delivery of goods or services

The personal information is processed for the purpose of developing new services (products) and providing customized services, determining the frequency of access, or statistics on member service use.

- How long to process and retain personal information
- AHJIN processes and retains personal information within the period of personal information retention/utilization under the Act or within the agreed period upon the information collection from user.

The personal information relating to “supply of goods or services” shall be retained / used for the purposes of the above use, from the date of consent for collection / utilization to the date of 5 years.

- b-1. Supply of goods or services
- The rights and responsibilities of the information subject and legal representatives and the methods of exercise As a personal information subject, the users can exercise the following rights.
- The information subject may exercise its right to access, correct, delete, and suspend processing of personal information with AHJIN at any time.
- Rights under paragraph a. shall be exercised in writing, e-mail, and sending a copy of the rights according to Paragraph 1 in Article 41 of the Enforcement Decree of the Privacy Act and AHJIN will take care of this without delay.
- The exercise of rights pursuant to paragraph a. shall be carried out through the legal representative of the information subject or by the authorized party. In such a case, you must submit a letter of attorney in accordance with Appendix No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Privacy Act.
- As to the request for access to personal information and suspension of processing, the rights of the information subject can be limited by Clause 5 of Article 35 and the Clause 2 of Article 37 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- The request for correcting or deleting the personal information cannot be accepted if the information is specified as a collection target in other statutes.
- When the information subject requests for access to the information, correction, deletion or processing suspension of the information under information subject’s right, AHJIN verifies whether the person who made the request is himself/herself or a legitimate representative.

- Supply of goods or services
- The destruction of personal information: AHJIN destroys personal information without delay when the purpose of personal information processing is achieved. The procedure, deadline and method of destruction are as follows.
- Procedure of destruction
The information entered by the user shall be transferred to a separate DB upon achievement of the purpose (for written information, to a separate document) and stored for a period of time or immediately destroyed according to the internal policy and other related statutes. At this time, personal information transferred to DB is not used for any purpose other than by law. - Deadline of destruction
User’s personal information is destructed within five days from the expiration date or from the date when the information processing is deemed unnecessary, such as achieving the purpose of personal information processing, the abolition of the service and the termination of the business. - Method of destruction
- c-1. For electronic file type information, a technical method in which the recording cannot be played back is used.
- c-2. Personal information printed on paper is destructed with a grinder or destroyed by incineration.

- The information subject may contact the CPO or the responsible department for any inquiries, complaints and remedies related to personal information protection caused by the use of the services (or businesses) of AHJIN. AHJIN will answer and process inquiries from the information subject without delay.

- The change of Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy shall be applied to the date of enforcement and, in the event of any changes made under the Act and the policy, it shall be notified through notice seven days before implementation of the change. - Measures to secure the safety of personal information
According to Article 29 of the Privacy Act, AHJIN takes the following technical, administrative and physical steps necessary to ensure the safety.- Regular self-auditing
To ensure stability in relation to personal information handling, we conduct our own audit regularly (once a quarter). - Minimizing the number of employees handling personal information and their trainingAHJIN implements measures to manage personal information by minimum number of designated employees who handle it.

- Restricted access to personal information we provide, change or cancel the access to the data processing system to control unauthorized access to personal information and the intrusion prevention system controls unauthorized access from outside.
